In fact, ALL berries will soon be in season and between the months of May to August, these jam packed nutrient rich powerhouses will be incorporated into so many of the recipes I share with you! Eat seasonally right? Let’s celebrate this cardinal rule with these delicious bursts of sweetness.
The Blueberry Smoothie Bowl can be served as a snack, as a smoothie in a glass or for breakfast. Blueberries have a good amount of fiber and low sugar making them an ideal fruit for healthy blood sugar. You literally cannot eat too many blueberries. It’s impossible 🙂 Blueberries also contain tons of vitamins, antioxidants, iron, calcium, magnesium, copper and beta-carotene making them great for maintaining a healthy weight. This is not the case with all fruits. Some fruits are high in sugar and should be eaten in moderation! But that’s not the case with blueberries. Eat the whole crate if you want to! Nothing bad will happen. This smoothie bowl in particular includes a healthy fat, avocado, that will recharge you and help you feel stronger throughout the day. Say yes to more Blueberry Smoothie Bowls this summer!
