BANANA CHERRY NICE CREAM

BANANA CHERRY NICE CREAM 1024 1024 Delphine Remy | Holistic Nutrition & Eating Psychology Coach

Cherries will soon be out of season! So don’t wait to enjoy my Banana Cherry Nice Cream!
It’s always nice to say you wish something lasted all year round but then we wouldn’t enjoy that thing as much. But I will say — there is a pretty intense joy of seeing cherries in open market stalls at the start of the season — and I do wish the season was longer.

Cherries are perfect summer snacks 🍒
I snack on the cherries the same way I do blueberries — rinsed and fresh out the bag. I do occasionally cook with them but I very often add them to my classical cherry clafoutis, in parfaits, on chocolate rice cakes and for nice creams (see recipe below)!

Why snack on cherries? Because cherries are loaded with super powerful antioxidants (similar to blueberries). Cherries contain anthocyanins and cyanidin, two components, that exhibit better anti inflammatory activity than aspirin and prevent the development of cancerous cells.

REMINDER. The darker the fruit or veggie — the more powerful nutrients it contains.
